We've tried to install the jive daily plugin on the on prem version of jive but we've got the following: Error: Could not verify the certificate chain of this signed add-on. What can be the root-cause of this issue in general?
Thank you for reaching out and bringing this error you received to our attention. I have our product team looking into this now, and will get back to you ASAP.
Have you created a support ticket yet? If you have not, please refer to these instructions on how to do so:Jive Support Updates - Coordinating our Efforts - volume 2
A support ticket must be created in order for our team to address any issues.
Hope this helps!Best,
Just created a Support case on the Aurea Portal: 01546947 - Jive Daily on prem plugin issue
Please note: I had to choose an operating system, but the issue is on our backend and has nothing to do with Android or iOS. I noted this in the case, but such information gets sometimes ignored and I have to reiterate myself several times. Please try to ensure, this does not happen this time.
The O/S question is critical for troubleshooting on-prem issues, so this would be RHEL, CentOS or Suse.
Also, to be specific, you tried to deploy the "Jive Daily Add-on", not a plugin. The plugin is a very different thing in Jive.
Since this is a signed add-on, you have to deploy it a certain way. How did you deploy?
I am merely a coomunication link in this matter, as Máté Délceg does not have an account for the support portal.
I wish I could answer your questions, but I cannot.
Thank you for submitting a ticket.
There should be no issue with the 'pick list' option confusing the support team, but please let me know if you have any problems.
Máté Délceg, as a workaround you can set the following system property jive.extension.signature.policy.upload to LENIENT, install/upload your add-on then set it back to its default value.
I've tried your workaround, but it doesn't work. We have jive 22.214.171.124 on premise, and we tried to install Twitter Add-on, but we have the same error "Error: Could not verify the certificate chain of this signed add-on".
Do you have any other suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
