Hi whoiskevin,

For some performance measure, I need to run following JVM commands to our applications:

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -javaagent:/usr/local/jive/<custom path >.jar"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.controller.hostName=<hostname>"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.controller.port=443"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.agent.applicationName=<appname>"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.agent.tierName=apache-<instance>"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.agent.nodeName=<server>-uat"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.agent.accountName=customer1"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.agent.accountAccessKey=<key>"

export JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappdynamics.controller.ssl.enabled=true"

However, they are not getting picked up by application somehow. Earlier, we used to set these params in bin/instance file in jive 6, that is kind of accommodated with server.xml in jive 8.

Could you please help where and how to make these configuration as part of application?

Do I need to get rid of "EXPORT" and add the remanning somewhere in some application file? Please advice !!
