What's working -- any gotchas?
Take a look at the SAP Career Center. We use the Jive platform for career related discussions and a 3rd party platform for actual job postings. While I am not the person who runs this program, I am aware of some of the gotchas... 1) program ownership. We don't have a clear owner of this program and therefore it doesn't receive the support and funding necessary to scale. 2) platform integration. 3rd party integration is always difficult. Do not underestimate the challenges associated with this type of integration.
Thanks Scott. This is helpful. Program ownership is always the first gotcha, isn't it? We are sensitive to customer and partner perception that we are poaching talent from them. That is not our intent. I like your approach. I would like to hear from anyone else who has done, or is considering, doing something similar.
