Unable to access images via V3 Image Endpoint

Hi Ryan Rutan Rashed Talukder,


We are not able to access images in Jive cloud using v3 API image end point.

We are getting following response after executing the API call:


Sample URL: /api/core/v3/images/1567838

"error" : {
"status" : 403,
"message" : "You are not allowed to perform this request for image ID 1567838"


There is a lot of confusion going on in the community about the usage of /Image endpoint but I don't see any permanent solution for this issue.

How do I get a true URL for an uploaded image file?


We are suspecting that we may be getting this issue due to recent changes in Jive’s security model.

We know Jive has recently introduced many changes related to Image Permissions.


Do you think this can be one of the reasons behind this issue?

If not, can you please suggest any other better solution?
