Major Production & Preview Upgrade Notification


All Jive-n and Jive-x production and preview instances will be upgraded to the 2016.1 Cloud Maintenance Release beginning on Friday, March, 4 through Saturday, March 5.  During the upgrade window, these instances will be unavailable for approximately 30 to 90 minutes.  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.


Your scheduled upgrade window, indicated below, is based on the geographic region associated to your production cloud instance:


  • All Preview Instances (All Geos):  9:00 AM - 5:00PM PDT (12:00PM - 8:00PM EST / 6:00PM - 2:00 AM CE
  • EU Production instances (Amsterdam): 2:00PM - 8:00PM PDT  (11:00PM - 5:00AM CET)
  • US 1 Productions Instances (Phoenix): 7:00PM - 12:00AM PDT  (10:00PM - 3:00AM EST)
  • US 2 Production Instances (Phoenix): 10:00PM - 3:00AM PDT (1:00AM - 6:00AM EST)

NOTE:  Jive has been talking to customers about our objective to implement an upgrade process that involves zero downtime, and occasionally you may hear us refer to this as HAZDU.  HAZDU stands for High Availability Zero Downtime Upgrade and represents our direction to provide the least disruption to our customers during the cloud release upgrade process.  Jive will keep you informed as these efforts progress.
