3 “Must-Attend” sessions at Aurea Experience 20 in Berlin

Aurea Experience 20 is rapidly approaching, and we couldn’t be more excited about the customer speakers we have lined up. This is the first in a series of posts where we’ll highlight several of the sessions you can expect in Berlin — starting this week with speakers from Rehau, Ripple Effect, and Lloyds.

Rehau makes polymer-based products for windows, doors, plumbing, automotives, and furniture components. They have over 20,000 employees in more than 170 locations, and their mission is to stay engaged with all of them, from office staff to plant workers.

In fact, more than half of Rehau’s employees are plant workers who didn’t have access to the company’s previous intranet. Plant managers just created powerpoint newsletters that they showed on monitors in the break rooms.

In Berlin, speakers from Rehau will tell you how they began using Jive — first at one of their largest plants as a pilot program — to give all workers access to the latest company news and critical communications from their smartphones. Plus, they’ll talk about the challenges of communicating across different countries and languages, and how the PS multi-language add-on helps.

Ripple Effect’s Anne Barlett-Bragg will talk about the incredible work they’ve done with the Council of Australian Tribunals (COAT). COAT brings together over 16,000 legal professionals to learn from each other and collaborate together — and you’ll hear how Jive makes it all possible.

Prior to using Jive, Australia’s 350+ magistrate judges worked in silos. They weren’t well connected to each other, and it was believed that (as older workers) they might not be willing to adopt new technologies.

Ripple Effect will talk about how they debunked that myth, and how Jive has brought them together at home, at the office, and on the road through easy-to-use mobile technology. It’s a powerful story about creating the future of work at a long-established institution.

Lloyds Banking Group has 90,000 employees worldwide, so connecting them (and keeping them collaborating) is no easy task. Mark Mazza and Emma Stacey will share their journey with Jive, starting in 2015 — and how they gradually rolled it out to the entire Lloyds workforce, including retail employees.

They’ll also talk about how Jive helped solve their employees’ #1 challenge: finding help when they need it. You’ll hear how they revamped the Jive profile page to make it easier for employees to find the right people for every question — plus, how they manage such a large Jive implementation with just a team of 2.

Their story is a great example of using customer journeys and design thinking to connect employees and solve their biggest pain points, and you won’t want to miss it.
